We're so happy you're here to join us and we're more than delighted that you came to play. but first things first. Before you go and join and have all the fun and games you want (I don't know how much fun and games this place can be), we want to set a few ground rules that you all understand how we run things around here. We don't want to have to boot you off the forum, but if you can't play nice, you can't play here. Okay? Okay!
First things first.
Cheese Fiend, that's me, am the head of this board and the person to see if something goes funky, weird, or anything else you'd fit into that category. I don't do too much moderating save the obligatory post of POWER that you might see around here occasionally. I own the domain as well this place is hosted on, so I guess it's pretty fair I get to be called the owner, eh? Anyway, so yes, I am a cheese fiend, thus the name, but I'm also called Christie. So if you see people going "Hey Christie! Fix this!" They are talking to me. You can call me that, or you can call me Cheesy if you must. Both I can live with.
Next up is my co-mod for the site, and that is
Cavegirl. Also know as Ivy to most, she is also a hard worker and helps to run most of the games with me that we'll discuss here. She's the general guru of RPG-dom, at least..she's far more responsible with mod things than I am and yeah...there you go! Ivy can probably choose to write more stuff here if she wants, so Ivy, go for it. :D
And with those intros out of the way here are some general rules of play that we have around here:
- The Brat Pack is a group of moderators. They are numbered few and other than The One In Charge, they are not to be questioned unless it is by another mod. Or The One in Charge.
- No advertising of any kind unless in the specified areas.
- Keep the cursing to a minimum. It's not that we care that much if you use foul language, but after awhile, it just starts to get annoying. Make them count for something. O:)
- Try to keep everything on the topic. If you feel like you're going on a tangent, make another topic in the same area or in the appropriate area.
- Be friendly to the newbies and don't abuse your power, whether you're a higher poster or a mod. We want to be fair here.
- Never let your emotions get the best of you. It's hard, really hard, and we all do it, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be conscious of it.
- All OOC info like plot searching/requests, character requests, etc are to be put here in the forum where they belong and in their specified areas.
- Nobody likes having someone who is not a mod acting like a mod. We hate to say "remember your place" but go starting crap because you think you're right and they are wrong. Let a mod handle any of this. If no mod has addressed it, contact one about the problem.
- It's okay to ask for help. We like being helpful.
- Just because you have an opinion, it doesn't mean it's right or it's wrong. We all have our right to our opinion, but arguing someone into submission with or without a real point isn't nice or fun. In fact, it leaves everyone with a bad taste in their mouth. So when a person decides they don't want to talk about it anymore, they won't, and leave it at that.

Cheese Fiend, and all other questions to a moderator or myself. We all want to have fun and play together, so the more respectful we are of each other, the better it will be.
